I have driven a few EVs over the years. Homebuilts, conversions,
C-Cars, EVA Metro, Leaf, etc.
But my favourite location for the charging port is still beside the
driver's door. Like my son's Ford Focus EV.
Yes, most modern EVs won't let you drive away with the vehicle plugged
in. However
If you are looking for an EV project and have a solid sense of

owner of it years ago, and had it in working conditi
The paper refers to a 10^3 (1000) times improvement in efficiency of a
very specific process in the photovoltaic effect. IMO, that won't
translate into 1000 times improvement at the cell or panel level as
there's a lot more going on to turn received photons into usable

Hi Nathan,

Nobody ever owned an EV1. GM only leased them, which is why they could

That said, there might be a few people still who leased one. It's

Pardon my cynicism, but what if the oil industry's interest in EV

If an industry which sees its primary source of profits being threatened

Hello Mark and all,
as expected, I'm tardy with a response, and I see the discussion has

I'm not prepared to debate the merits of hydrogen as a fuel or energy

No need to get too excited by EV uptake in Canada just yet.
There is no federal incentive. Period.
The British Columbia provincial incentive as allowed to expire in
February of this year. I think that leaves only 2 provinces (Ontario
and Quebec) with incentive programs. These programs are a
