I had a deposit on one. I got a phone call in January from the dealer to get
the process started, but by then my wife and I had decided that it was more
important for me to retire than to buy a vehicle. As I recall the price on
offer from Jubilee Ford in Saskatoon was in line with MSRP.

Good grief. And I thought it was outrageous back in the Mideast oil embargo
days of the mid 1970s when Datsun and Toyota dealers were putting $400 or so
I have a deposit on a Ford Lightning pick up truck, but I expect unfair
pricing from Ford dealers. We drove a Mustang E last month. The MSRP is
about 43k but the dealer asking price was 77k for 34k dealer mark up. I
expect to see the same BS on the Lightning. George
