I couldn't agree more with Paul Scott.Danny Ames

I've been an EV activist for over 20 years. Been driving EVs and powering them
with solar energy since 2002. I helped organize the fight to save the last
remaining EV1s that were ultimately crushed as portrayed in the documentary,
"Who Killed the Electric car?". When we were fighting to save EVs from being
crushed, the UAW didn't help us. When I went to Washington for hearings on EVs,
Rep. Dingell testified against EVs, specifically on behalf of the UAW. For two
decades unions and their members have fought against EVs.
But then Tesla came along.
Against heavy odds, Elon Musk and his excellent team of engineers and workers,
all motivated by the mission to electrify transportation, built the best cars
and SUVs in the world - according to every metric you wish to use. Tesla,
derided for years for not being profitable, were pumping the profits into
building bigger and more efficient factories, "the machine that builds the
machine", and now Tesla has the highest profit per unit - by far - of all
carmakers.
UAW members deserve whatever happens to them. They all drive grossly
inefficient gas vehicles, and a high percentage of them support Trump. The ICE
industry is going to be dead no later than 2035, so everyone making anything
associated with internal combustion will be out of a job. The Labor Dept. says
we need over a million electricians, so maybe some can learn that trade. I hope
the strike lasts a long time, because the fewer ICE vehicles built, the better.
