Tesla provides a Trailer ECU when the factory option is ordered. This
properly provides all the signals, or you can go "old school" and wire in
something, but make sure it's "amplified" unless your trailer is 100% LED.
The Tesla lighting signals CANNOT provide more than an extra amp or so
I would also ask in any of the Tesla forums. It’ll be interesting to hear
what you find out.

I’d be interested to have any info on wiring up trailer lights on the Bolt. I
have a hitch but right now it’s just for a bike rack.
Do you tow with the Bolt?
