 Peri.  You didn't read the article.   Stella Lux used off the shelf specially encapsulated cells from Sunpower.  Many of the components are off the shelf.   Since the vehicle has a small pack it is much cheaper to build. Much quicker to charge and it only takes 10 hours to charge on solar.  95%
