If by EV, the author means battery electrics only, the information is
questionable. VW has been spending lots on fuel cell development (Ballard had
contract with them for this work). Note that in this area, I've seen VW say one
thing, but do something completely different.

BTW, while the e-Golf is nice, and its drivers like their EV, VW has always
been an EV talker, but an ice walker/do'er.
