Re: [Evergreen-general] Evergreen Booking Module

2024-04-23 Thread Jennifer Pringle via Evergreen-general
Hello Beth,

The Student Success Interest Group is starting back up (next meeting is at
2:00pm ET on Thursday April 25th during the Hackfest). The booking module is
on the list as one of the potential topics for Thursday and going forward so
may be a good place for a discussion and to find out who is currently using
booking.

Jennifer

Subject: [Evergreen-general] Evergreen Booking Module

Hello everyone,

NOBLE is not currently using Evergreen's Booking module, though we have had a
couple of libraries use it in the past on a limited basis. Another one of
libraries is interested in implementing this module, so we are looking at it
again. If your library/consortium is using this module, I would be interested
in hearing about your experience with it.

Thank you in advance!
Beth

Hi, Courtney -

I will forward this request to our staff that monitor our Booking
offerings. We use it for book club kits, STEAM trunks, and other children's
materials. We are currently in 3.6 and are updating to 3.8 next month. The
booking module isn't reliable in 3.6. It allows overlapping booking.

Good luck!

Hello,

I'm reaching out to identify consortiums who are currently using Evergreen's
Staff Client Booking Module or have used it in the past. Our consortium, NC
Cardinal is currently using Evergreen 3-7-2. We would like to hear from you
about your experiences with bookings. If possible, we would appreciate any in
house documentation/training that you may have created regarding your
consortium's established workflows in Booking. All feedback is welcomed!

Regards,
Courtney
