in Evergreen. You'd need to have a font uploaded to call in the style
parameter, like "font-family:url('fonts/barcode-font-example.ttf')". The

libraries use "Codabar" encoding for their barcodes, and because it is a
fixed length encoding, it is possible to create Codabar barcodes by simply
using a special font. Here is one example:

We use gLabels (see https://help.gnome.org/users/glabels/stable/) for
printing barcodes, patron cards or any other types of cards. I personally
consider gLabels to be quite simple and very functional. The only drawback
may be that it is only available for Linux (as far as I know).

A year or 2 ago, I added to the code to the Patron Address print template to
print patron barcodes for temporary library cards for our new card holders. I
found the right barcode font and it was working great. Recently we upgraded a
few circulation computers and the Epson TM-T88V
