Ok I think I founjd the problem with the maidlir stuff having
undeletable messages.
If you have indexing on, and the message contained no indexable content
(i.e. purely attachments), it would say 'oh this hasn't been indexed
before' and re-index it - this process also clears all the flags (i.e.

I've talked to Marius a bunch about this, it seems evo is sending the
wrong password for some of the hosts. Even after asking for a new one,
etc.
He's using 0.10, has that been fixed since?
The thing is, it sometimes works, so i dont think its any protocol

Is there any functional difference between "Expunge" and "Empty trash"?
As far as I can tell, there isn't. Both make the messages marked
for deletion disappear from my inbox and make the messages showing
up in the Trash folder go away.

without reading through the whole discussion first.
The bug where running expunge/'empty trash' doesn't
actually delete messages off of the POP3 mail server
until Evolution exits still applies.
