I'm curious, what exactly happens with IMAP accounts when you tell
Evolution to work offline?
It takes only about 10-15 seconds on one of my accounts, but varies
wildly on my other one, ranging from 20-30 seconds to 1-2 minutes.

ok, well, for some reason the install with kerberos support works now.
but, i can't find in any of the menus anything related to kerberos. i
tried to setup a new account but no where did i see a kerberos option.
does anyone know where i go after having it compiled with support for

Once again, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for your
incredible work on this app- It has become the cornerstone of our office
communication.
However, being the insatiable techno-geek that I am, I had to do one
better, and went out and bought one of the developer editions of

whatever it was it was fixed in RC2. also Evo never remembers my default

Ok, well I solved _my_ problem.
Turns out there was no configuration file for oaf itself. (well there was
one, but it was empty) I copied the config.xml.sample to config.xml and
SHAZAM! It seems to be working now. Details below.

Hi: I updated from Evolution RC2 to Evolution 1.0 using red-carpet on a RedHat
7.2 system. Now, when I start Evolution, the mail component fails, with the
following errors. The other components seem fine. Running evolution as root
appears to be fine. I also tried running a a freshly creaded user,
I never log on as root, but it seems I have 50 or so messages queued. Is
it possible to forward these to user bg and read them using Evo?

I already tried reinstalling pspell, aspell and gnome-spell :-(
The strange thing is that it works for root and not my own less
privilaged login... I realy need a spelling checker as I don't spell
well at all.
