Do you have message threading enabled?
I do.
If so, the threading code hides duplicate messages.
Ah. Is there a reason for that, or is it a bug?

Hi, all,
This past week, I had the opportunity to download the entire Ximian
desktop distribution from Gnome. I've been trying to look into ways of
making Evolution talk to my Zaurus SL-5000. I found the sample source
code posted last September by Federico (thanks!), and I've been trying

For me paste with Ctrl-V doesn't work, the menu entry Edit-Paste is ok.
Ctrl-V makes the cursor jump to the signature. Strange...

Perhaps because you are using the emacs keybindings and C-v is actually
page-down for you?

Hi,
I have some duplicates in the contacts list. They are effectively
duplicated in the addressbook.db file. Is this a known bug, is there a
workaround or should I file it ?

Is there any way to get Evolution to display messages of different priority in a different color??
I have some messages that have the following in their headers:
X-Priority: 1
Priority: Urgent
Importance: high
It would be nice if I could flag them, either by having them appear a
I'm looking for an example of how to access calendar/contacts/todo
details from a python (or perl) script. I know this has to be via
corba/bonobo, but apart from that I'm pretty lost.
I've had a look at the Evo .oaf files, but have little clue how to
continue. I've installed bonobo-python ready.
Is there a way in Evo (i.e., not using procmail, etc) to have an
autoresponse email? I use Evo's POP3 features to get my mail from my
ISP, and don't want to change that. Is there any way to have a 'Your

[Retrying this because of sending troubles]
Hi everybody,
this is a problem i've had for a while, but by now it's bothering me
_very_ much: evo (currently running 1.0.2) doesn't recognize / allow me
to use the extended LDAP attributes.
Basically I run an OpenLDAP 2.0.14 server (debian, -1.1)
curious about the following sequence:
1. start evolution
2. open the calendar view (defaults to this week, call it week 5)
3. click work week view
(week 5 is now displayed in work week view)
4. click on week 6 by clicking the work week number in the month
calendar at the top right.
Maybe a filter action to send a message could solve this (and other)
things?

PMMail has send canned reply as a filter action. I think something
like that is what you would need.

There isn't such an action for filters, that I could see. That's why I
asked.

No. I don't own a Palm.
The problem with duplicates is that I can't delete them, otherwise both
