I don't see any progress toward integrating instant messaging with
evolution. Has is been abandoned? Is it still looking for someone to
dedicate time to it? I'm planning my vacation and I think I'd like to
spend time getting AOL TOC working.

Hey all,
I've been trying to compile Evolution from source on an Ultra-Sparc box running
Solaris 8.
I've dug myself into a hole here, and I'd thought I'd stop digging for a few seconds.
To get Evolution working, gnome-vfs needs to have been compiled. [1]
Configure finds all the needed

I noticed today that a few emails I had in my Inbox were missing.
I did a grep -r for a term in one of them and it turned up in
~/evolution/local/Inbox/mbox.
Both of the missing emails are immediately following a huge HTML

Sounds like a problem with the gnome-vfs changes that were made to
support large files on Linux? You should send mail to

hi
if i try to accept a meeting proposal sent from outlook 2000, i get the
following message:
Unable to find any of your identities in the attendees list.
i am running Evo 1.0.3 on Redhat 7.2. i am pretty sure this used to work
in 1.0.2.
thanks

I recently switched my laptop over to using a wireless card. In the
process I found that I needed to use a different SMTP server, because
Evolution was giving me errors when I tried to send.
I chose send later on the messages I wanted to send, then figured out
what server I needed to use and
it's already been fixed in CVS HEAD afaik.

What is the simplest way to make message deletion in Evolution behave
like that of Netscape mail? Specifically: when you delete a message, it
is moved to the deleted mail folder, and removed from its current folder
so you don't see it there any more. Deletion of messages out of the
deleted mail
