I have been having problems with Evolution grabbing my mouse related to
clicking on mails, I think. I wouldn't call it a freeze, though...
Eventually I usually could get it to go back (by clicking aimlessly on
things that change the mouse coursor) but occasionally I'd have to do a
killev.

No need for a mail client; POP3 is so easy to use manually. Put it this
way: it's actually easier to read your mail using telnet to the POP3
server than it is to use the old 'mail' application.

Thankfully my ISP has a web access capability so I can purge this e-mail.
Just turn off the preview pane and you can go to the message in
evolution and delete

On my system, the email caused the email component to die (gracefully)
while retrieving messages from my POP3 account.

I updated yesterday evening to the May 01 snapshot
(evolution-1.0.4.99-snap.ximian.200205010601) and the mail component has
crashed on me 8 times this AM.
I uninstalled that version and reinstalled the April 25 bits (

My crashes were like everyone else's; not a May 1 build problem.
Now I just have to keep all the MS-Outlook Bigots around here from
hearing about this.

I found that if you have the preview pane open, then you can't filter
it. Closing the preview pane and deleting/expunging worked just fine
though.

Hello everybody,
does someone knows why the e-mail component of Evolution crashes from
when I upgraded it to the 1.02 release ?
Before that it all works properly.
No printing nor preview.
No solution upgrading it to 1.03.
It runs on RedHat 7.2 with all the Gnome Desktop installed.
Thanks

Bad idea. Evo and FC hates each other.

Today's snapshots have the fix for the broken mail if you care to use

Usual snapshot caveats apply.

Hello,
as reported on the mailing list yesterday, Evolution 1.0.3 has a serious

when downloading certain messages with invalid headers.
The attached patch fixes the problem. It is strongly advised that users

Although, I don't see the Evolution Development Snapshot channel atm,

What I used to use a fair amount back in my Groupwise days was a thing
they called Reply Request (IIRC). This was kind of a hybrid of an
assigned task and a message.
After completing your message text but before hitting send, you would
