hi!
how can i set up evolution so it jumps to the next unread message?
i always have my messages sorted by date, most recent on bottom ...
can i make evolution jump to the bottom of the message list when i enter
a folder?
another question: where can i set message priority?
thanks,
I am wondering if anyone's working on:
a) being able to support syncing up Evolution with the iPAQ,
b) importing files from Outlook (Outport does not export tasks!)
If so, please advise. I'd be happy to offer testing. (RH8.0, gnome
2.0, iPAQ model 3850)
thanks, david

Don't know :)
What other GREAT goodies like anti-aliased screen fonts will it
include? Just the fonts will make a huge difference to my life..

I'm running Evolution 1.2 on RedHat 8.0 (upgraded via Red Carpet). I'm
having a problem with assigning tasks to users. We are NOT using
Microsoft Exchange as a backend. We're merely using peer-to-peer

When I assign a task, the e-mail attachment is sent out, the intended

Actually, worked like a charm. Evo 1.2 is installed and everything,
including the Palm sync seems to be working like a charm.
Much faster in some respects and though I've had the mail component die
once or twice today.
Thanks very much for access to the repository!!! Woohooo!!!
ciao!

Hi
I have evolution 1.2.0 installed on my box.
Now my dad wants to use evolution as well and share our emails.
I just thought of making a symlink from his evolution folder to mine and works just great - except for the fact that evolution makes cearten files read and write for me and for my

I remember in a past version there was the option to send deleted messages
directly to the trash bin so they dont sit in the in-box with the
strike-through lines. I really want deleted messges to go directly to the
trash when I delete them with out having to do the ctrl+e to expunge.

This is a problem with Evolution 1.2, Suse Linux 8.0. Red-carpet is involved somehow
as well.
Hello all ya'll.
I recently upgraded to Evolution 1.2 via redcarpet. I'm pretty sure everything worked
right afterwards, but then all of a sudden about a week ago I became unable to send
mail. Got

I use evolution 1.0.8-10 on rh 8.0 on two computers that have separate
file systems, but I keep some directories in sync by doing an:
/usr/bin/rsync -avuz -e ssh --exclude *~ --exclude #* --exclude
.#*
for my ~/evolution directory. This seems to work fine for mail, but my
calendar doesn't
The wombat process probably hadn't shut down and so had not sync'd the
calendar data to disk yet. You need to killev first before rsync'ing.

Try running killev before rsync. You should probably do it on both
machines, since some information is kept in memory by Evolution
(particularly the calendar) and IIRC this will ensure it's written to
disk.
If killev doesn't work, then try oaf-slay...

Hi Jørn-
What I have done for exactly this purpose is to set up an IMAP server.
This has many advantages, including:
1) Your account and your mail account can be different accounts.
2) You can run any number of mail clients and see the same folders.
3) You can have remote

It takes to long to wait for me... it's probably wombat and I've sent the trace with
bugg-budy..
