[Evolution] Evolution conduits...

2001-10-05 Thread John Ehrlinger
Are the evolution conduits only available from source? I'm using the binaries and have found no reference to the actual conduit. Is there a doc for setting up Palm sync with conduits somewhere? Thanks, JE ___ evolution maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] h

Damn, it just wacked my contacts. I've had all the conduits work, and then not work. Where can I find the gpilotd.log file to figure some of this out? John On Thu, 2001-10-18 at 13:59, Janus Christensen wrote: > Hello > > When I try to sync my Palm Addresses with Evolution gpilotd crashes. I

Interesting. The contacts and calendar disappeared after syncing. Then my contact tool crashed. So I killev, oaf-slay and reopen Evo. Everything is back. On Thu, 2001-10-18 at 13:05, John Ehrlinger wrote: > Damn, it just wacked my contacts. > > I've had all the conduits work, and

Re: [Evolution] Applying filters automatically

2001-10-25 Thread John Ehrlinger
So is there a switch to have it filter automatically, or is this supposed to just happen? Mine have never filtered. Is that my server not marking them, or Evo just not filtering as they arrive? John On Thu, 2001-10-25 at 18:55, Jeffrey Stedfast wrote: > That's because IMAP only allows a single f

[Evolution] SSL connections

2001-11-02 Thread John Ehrlinger
OK, I'll admit I'm new to secure connections. Is there a way to tell if the secure connection is actually secure? I was thinking about the lock icon in Mozillascape. On first connection to the server, I found the certificate had expired and was named incorrectly and... Since this is in-house, I a

[Evolution] Messages showing up as attachments in Outlook.

2001-11-26 Thread John Ehrlinger
Hi all, For some reason messages I'm sending from Evolution are showing up as attachments in Outlook express. I'm getting complaints from users about the pain of having to view the attachment to read my messages. Am I doing something wrong? Have I missed some pref? I could send the message as HTM

This could be a known bug http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=12952 Evo doesn't change the connection to the SSL port unless you do a restart. So it may have connected to 143, then evo was restarted and it connected to 993. Completely independent of the local account change. John On Sat,
