I have a strange problem, which i not have found a solution yet.
Situation; i use evolution remote thru a ssh tunnel. I use 2 operating
system to do this, Redhat and MS-Windows. At all time evolution is
started from the same (remote)machine.
The strange thing that i have is that when i start ev

But there is only 1 evolution. Or does save evolution settings based on
where teh DISPLAY shell variable is set?

Evolution does not get these preferences from its config file, it gets
them from the environment - and it seems that the Windows environment is
not the same as the Linux environment.

Oke, the problem is an evironment.
The situation is:
BoxA: Windows with X terminal
BoxB: A random RedHat installation
BoxC: A RedHat installation with evolution (no screen attached)
When i use boxA evolution will be started with an REXEC on boxC.
When i use boxB, it will connect with ssh to boxC
