I also have a problem with the latest updated.
Yesterday, 10 of June, i made an update using red carpet,
of the whole Ximiam desktop; the update completed without errors.
Loggin on after the update, i got the following error in a error dialog:

well, it seems as if you have the same problem as many others have, too.
Just add /usr/lib/mozilla-1.0.0 to your /etc/ld.so.conf and run
/sbin/ldconfig after that. Should work then.

Nautilus both crash on opening.

I had this problem after an apt-get -u dist-upgrade and running:
"killev" and then "oaf-slay" fixed the problem.

I had a similair problem getting https to work. The psm module was not
happy.
I erased it and reinstalled it and restarted mozilla. Works fine now.
Can even get hushmail to wotk with 1.4.0.
