I have just switched to a new machine running Evolution on Ubuntu. I
forgot to make a backup file from Evolution running on my old machine.
However, I found that by transferring across the .evolution directory
(which I had in the general backup) I get back all my mails and

I have developped a script python to extract few data from a mbox file
created by evolution.
This script create a txt file with only From, To and Cc fileds. For
title and content i have a problem i didn't anticipate.
In this mbox file there is iso-8859-1 and utf-8 files so i cant
decode/enc

The 'To', 'CC' and 'BCC' fields don't get filled at all... only the
body of the message and the subject do.

Thanks for the speedy response!
You put me right on track. It appeared from gnomevfs-list that there
was no mime type available for gnomevfs for my .doc and .xls files.
This is strange since I could open them by clicking on them in Nautilus.
