I don't have a printer ready to test. What happens if you use
File Print... Page Setup
PS: Is it the same for HTML and plain text? Did you test a different
driver/or different settings? Perhaps you should mention what printer
and driver you're using.

By too large, what do you mean?
Does the print preview show the same size fonts?
