I am having a problem with connection with Comcast/Evolution. My Gmail and
Outlook connected perfectly but Comcast comes up cannot connect to server.
I am running Ubuntu 18.10 Cosmic Cuttlefish and my Evolution is 3.30.1 Build 1.
Any help with this would truly be appreciated, Thank You
Ed Paulus
The HTML feature set within the default evolution editor is understandably
limited. In addition and like many, I find myself using markdown more and more.
While I'd love to see evolution accept and parse markdown, I understand that is
a large project.
So I was wondering if there may be an easier
ld be improved, or at least
documented; or better still avoided altogether so that sending mail still works
after upgrading from an older Evolution.
Thanks,

To change your list o
rites the good folders.db with the empty one from
~/.evolution.
I'll try copying across ~/.local/share/evolution only, leaving out the
~/.evolution directory, and see if the migration works.

I also send messages with BCC and can see who I've sent to in my "Sent"
messages folder.
Check "Preferences" and the tab Headers, to ensure that the BCC box is
checked.

I can't seem to find a guide for using Evo. with Comcast. I have tried
standard stuff like mail.comcast.net and stmp.comcast.net, w/ and w/o
come encryption, to no avail. Help appreciated.
