In Evolution 3.38.3-1 how does one turn off marking read messages as
read?
I'd like to read any message with Evolution without marking any message
as read.
I tried turning off the "Mail Preferences" -> "Mark messages as read
after 0.0 seconds" preference but that didn't stop Evolution from

On my email server all account folders are subfolders of the Inbox
folder (or at least all folders appear to be Inbox subfolders when
connecting to the account via IMAP which is the only connection
protocol I use).

When I'm editing an email the spell checker spots unknown words and
underlines them in red. If I right-click on one of those words I can
correct it from any of the dictionaries I've configured Evolution to
