Maybe I should switch to Kubuntu 14.04.

I'm using Evolution 3.2.3 with Kubuntu (Ubuntu KDE) 12.04.
Before I used Ubuntu (Gnome). Evolution displayed statistical data at
the top of the folder list. I.e the name of the selected folder and the
amount of read and unread mails in this folder.

I've upgraded to Evolution 3.2.3 Kubuntu 12.04. (got rid of Unitiy)
When I first set a mark in Options/Sign with PGP this raised a icon that
starts a 'search and replace' dialogue.
How can I remove this icon?

When composing e-mails in former versions of evolution there was a icon
for signing and one icon for decrypting (afik this was a padlock icon)
in the toolbar of the composer window.
I had just to make one click to sig
After Years! of searching I found this
$ chmod -R 0775 /usr/share/icons
$ echo gtk-icon-theme-name=\"gnome\" >> ~/.gtkrc-2.0
helpful.

I'm using evo 6.2.6 and it behaves like you expect. Multi selection OK!
Left click doesn't show the mentioned plus sign.
My system:
Linux 2.6.15.1 i686 AMD Athlon(TM) XP 1700+ GNU/Linux

I am using Gentoo with Gnome 2.10.2 and Evo 2.2.3
after an upgrade Evo behaved like this:
- When I started Evo there were neither calendar nor tasks
- When I deleted several e-mails they were gone until the next start.
Then they shown up again.
- When I close Evo it crashed. I.e. a pop-u
I assume you're using the Tools/Pilot/Sync menu from within EVO.
In my case I had success when - and only when! - I set the conduits anew
every time I use the Pilot.
Maybe that helps.
