I confess, I don't fully understand what you are trying to do! :-D.
But I can remember having had problems with mails in the Sent folder as
well and therefore configured in the preferences for each mail account I
have that the Sent folder is a folder different from the default Sent
folder. M
rs to scan this Personal Folder in addition to the
others.

Have you looked into labels? You could set up a special label for

particular folder. That still leaves you with adding a new address to

Why don't you try to use filters and labels instead of search folders.
I have an imap account, too. Just create filter rules which label mails
in a certain way, e.g. all mails having Received-Date in 2003 get a
label, called 2003. Then you can create other rules which move mail

I had the same problem when expunge of a folder would cause an error. I
copied the folder somewhere, renamed the original and then moved the
copy back to the original.
evolution would update the corresponding filter rule, to now contain the
name .old, which I did not want.
