[Evolution] Filtering Incoming Mail

Hi all, I've just installed Evolution on Ubuntu 8.0.4. I've created mail filtering rules, but they're not applying to incoming mail: I have to select all emails in my inbox and run the filter manually. Very annoying and I've looking in the application's help and PDF manual and found no solution.
