Hi
Mails in Trash can be easily emptied by right click Trash icon and
click Empty Trash. I want similar function for junk mail folder too.
Anyone know if there is way to do it in this way?

There isn't. Messages in Junk are not formally deleted,

I believe you can create a filter to do this. Experiment with 'if
status is junk...'
In my version (2.8.3) its under Preferences - Mail Preferences - Junk
Tab. Not too many options though (although for me, it's fine).
I have a junk folder - the junk button then updates the spam filters and
files the mail there. I can then un junk it etc.
