Is there a non-Microsoft server that will give me full collaboration
functionality and integrate with Evolution? In all the years I have
been working at I.T. this has eluded me.
Currently am using Horde - but it doesn't synch with anything for
contacts/calendar.

Zafara integrates with ClearOS? Well THAT sounds promising as my
current server is ClearOS 5.2 Ent (I have paid for it since it was
ClarkConnect).
My problem is that I cannot find any client that will integrate and give
me contacts/calendar as well as the basic IMAP/SMTP/POP.

ClearOS iMAP/SSL works transparently and very well on Evolution (or any
other client I've tried). There are many solutions that allow
iMap/POP/SMTP integration. The problem is that Exchange seems to be the
only option if you also want contacts/memos/calendars etc.

We don't actually use the calendar and contact stuff--using vTiger. But
the webaccess for zarafa on ClearOS shows calendar and contact tabs. So
I guess the question would be whether Evolution has the capacity to
coordinate with those sources. I haven't explored that.
