The position will proactively work to meet the needs of IT projects that
utilize the SOA Center.  The individual in this position will:

Plan/Design:

Work with IT project teams and SOA Center staff analyzing business
requirements and determining where they intersect with the BizTalk platform.
At those intersections, the administrator will develop technical
requirements as applicable to the SOA BizTalk environment. The incumbent
will ensure all existing standards are properly followed and create new
standards as necessary to ensure a good customer experience.  Additionally
the individual will plan for & design upgrade paths for BizTalk to ensure
system availability.  The administrator will document existing & future
changes to the SOA Center Environment.

Implement:  

Based on input from technical requirements from IT projects, IT Enterprise
Architecture, IT Operations and IT Security, this individual will  maintain
the SOA BizTalk platform to current & future IT & Security standards. 

 

Maintain:

The Administrator will conduct regular systems tests; monitor test results,
performance and other feedback; and take required corrective action for all
test and production SOA Center environments to ensure a good customer
experience.   Manage OS & Product patching to ensure environment is current
& stable. 

 

Support: 

Work with Helpdesk, SOA Center and Development staff to provide 3rd tier
support when issues cannot be resolved at a lower level.  Work with
Operations & EPS group to triage & maintain the SOA BizTalk environment when
issues occur.  This support include both during working hours and off-hour
support. This position is one of 2 positions providing 24 x 7 on call
support for the BizTalk platform.

 

Skills Needed

Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in
information technology, engineering, telecommunications.     Required
4              Years

Implementing Biz Talk, including working with lead architects and existing
team members to implement and integrate BizTalk into a multi-platform env.
Required             5              Years

Administering Biz Talk including deployment, performance tuning, integration
, disaster recovery planning and other typical system administration task
Required             5              Years

Knowledge of Windows Server 2003, 2008R2, 2012R2 administration
Required             3              Years

Experience with Active Directory Administration, SQL Server and Exchange.
Required             3              Years

Experience consuming, or creating WCF (WSI compliant) web services from a
web platform        Required             3                Years

Proficient with .NET C#, ASP.NET, PowerShell     Required             3
Years

Experience with VMWare virtualization technology         Required

Experience with NetApp storage solutions.         Required             3
