find some good videos on Youtube.com if you are unfamiliar with lookup

Hi Paul
Thanks for the reply
I followed your instructions.
When I right click 'Next fortnight' button and select 'Assign macro' -
It
goes to second line of the code - "=ECHO(FALSE)" in 'Macro1' Sheet
When I right click Re-Calculate' button and select 'Assign macro' - It
goes

Is there a way to change a filtered view by changing the value of a cell
rather than clicking the drop-down arrow and scrolling to the data you want
to filter it to?
Or more specific, see attached for a formula to look up all instances of a

Hi,
If you are using xl2007 or more, you can use the IFERROR function.
In your case, I think the syntax would go something like this:
=IFERROR(INDIRECT(A1&"D$65")*1,"Linked Workbook not open!")
But I don't have XL2007 here to check it.
Hope this helps.

report. Perhaps I am not being clear so I will try to explain what I

then, right-click on the button.
You should get a menu, but depending
on the type of button control,
the menu will be different.
If it is a "Form Control", then there wil

I have an Excel spreadsheet which compiles a summary report by linking
to many
spreadsheets, whose file names are computed according to the date,
e.g. If Cell A1
contains '[Data_2010_December]Inputs'! the link formula might be =
+INDIRECT(A1&"D$65")*1
That works fine provided that file Data_2010_D
