Keep in mind that to Excel, "time" is the fractional part of a day. If your convert 6:00 am to "general" format, you'd see it as .25, or 6:00am is 6/24 or .25 days. so, in order to add hours , you have to convert it to "days". so, 4:30pm + 1.5 hours is 0.6875 + 1.5/24 = .75 which, when displaye
