Hi All, I created a customized template file (.xlt) to reflect a customized color palette. Now I would like this template to be the default template so that when I start excel, all the colors are in the same format as the customized palette.
I did some google search to do this: http://www.vlerick.com/helpdesk/our_services/faq/software_solution/microsoft/excel/faq_default_template.html http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/HP052292861033.aspx http://www.eggheadcafe.com/software/aspnet/31110805/default-template-excel-us.aspx and I put the .xlt file at these locations on my computer ( I have windows xp professional) C:\Documents and Settings\my_name\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel \XLSTART C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\XLSTART But still nothing happened and it didn't default to the customized template. Do you think there is something which I am missing ? Please help. Thanks. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some important links for excel users: 1.
