I have concatenated two values.
E.g., cell A1 has 12%, and A24 has 1. I want to concatenate both values in
cell A40 as 12% 1, but 12% should be bold and 1 italics.

create a Name range

You can do something like:
range(cell).characters(1 to 3).font.bold = true
And the same for characters 6 but Ruth italics
