* Guidewire Policy Center Developer*

*Location:  Purchase, NY Duration:  6- Months*


We are seeking strong Guidewire Developers to focus on the continued
implementation and adoption of the Guidewire Policy Center platform.

Our ideal candidate will leverage strong development, communication and
leadership skills to deliver Enterprise projects using Guidewire and
writing code in GOSU. He/she will be working in sub-teams supporting large
program development and/or future enhancements.

*Objectives:*

   - Develop and maintain GOSU language application code within Guidewire
   Policy Center application
   - Plan, design, develop, modify, debug and evaluate moderately complex
   software for functional areas.
   - Analyze existing software or work to formulate logic for moderately
   complex new systems


*Qualifications*

   - 2+ years of development experience in Guidewire Policy Center and
   demonstrated ability with GOSU programming
   - 3+ years of experience with the design, development, modification and
   deployment of software, including object-oriented programming concepts.
   - P&C Insurance experience is preferred but not required
   - Experience with WebLogic, WebSphere or similar Application Server
   - Experience with issue and tracking software such as Jira, Version1 or
   Rally
   - Experience with using UML to specify application design (sequence
   diagrams, class diagrams)
   - Experience with writing SQL queries is a plus
   - Excellent communication skills
