Position: Java Developer

Location: Ft Worth, TX

Terms :Contract



This Sr Java Developer will be responsible for development in a full stack
environment (end to end development) in AA.com. They will be responsible
for developing in an agile/scrum environment using TDD and the role will be
heavily middle to back end focused but seeking a well rounded senior
engineer that brings expertise in multiple technologies. This developer
will be moving legacy code, making it more modularized and putting it in
the cloud. They are working to create modules to act as microservicess. The
projects are spread across various areas in ecommerce/AA.com but there is a
focus on enterprise customer facing applications and web features. There is
a large scope of work so could be developing a wide array of aspects for
AA.com.



·         There are around 25+ swim lanes within AA.com. Some of the teams
already have implemented Angular.JS 1. They would like to implement
Angular.JS 2 moving foward (Still POC).

Key Skill:

1. Strong Core Java v1.7 and J2EE development (core development from
scratch)- building clean elegant code

2. Core Spring V.4, and Spring Integration

-Dependency Injections, Interfaces and Thread Safety

3. Web Services - creating and exposing/consuming controllers with SOAP and
REST API's

4. TDD (test first methodology)- Junit or Mockito

5. Agile experience



~Javascript, JSP, JQuery, Angular JS- UI experience is a plus
