*Location : Irvine, CA*

*Duration: 12+ months*



*Job description:*



Design & Development of IFE software components using JAVA-Android
technologies.



*Technical Skills:*



·         Core Java programming such as Collection API and Thread
programming, Java concepts like polymorphism, inheritance, serialization,
synchronization, multi-threading, and exception handling etc., JUnit, ZMQ /
RabbitMQ or any of the messaging system, IPC,

·         Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZMQ
etc.

·         Experience working on large-scale applications.

·         Knowledge of the Scrum development process and Continuous
Integration practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Sonar, GIT, JIRA, Version
One).

·         Hand on experience with design Patterns, OOP.

·         Sound knowledge of design patterns.  Experience with Unit
Testing using PowerMock, Mockito.

·         Experience working on Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux). 
Knowledge of scripting languages such as bash, python or JavaScript will be
a plus point.



*Good to have skills:*



·         Experience with IFE systems

·         Understanding of Android Media frameworks. (e.g. Libstagefright,
Codec integration) will be plus point

·         Experience working on Linux platform

·         Socket/Network programming etc., with some C/C++ knowledge.

·         JNI and HAL programming

·         Android internal framework services experience

·         Understanding of Android Application

·         Experience with measure software performance

·         Experience working on Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux).

·         Experience designing and implementation of security on Linux
environment (LDAP, Snort, Firewall etc.)
