and then pasted them into the formula part of the Highlight rules in my working
xlsx sheets but it didn't work correctly. I then pulled in your new xlsx and

Copy formula from G2 Select A2 to D12 ( or larger range) goto
conditional formatting, select manage rules select new rule, after that
select use formula to determine which cells to format..paste formula, click
format select color you want to give...
After that Copy

It works great except My real Sheet1 has columns A-L and Sheet2 has columns
A-T. I couldn't tell how to modify your code to get all the columns into Sheet3.

Could you change your code to get Sheet1 columns A-L and append Sheet2 columns
A-T all into Sheet3 if they match like in the test data? The data I use is
under a non-disclosure with my client so I can't really send it.

Check this for macro solution..Click blue button you get your data as
desired in sheet3.
Be cautious when you change sheets name, amend records too..
I assume that sheet2 doesnt have duplicates..

It really needs a VBA Macro probably to check Sheet1 row by row to see if it
has any matches in Sheet2. If you look at the Test Sheet, it shows what I need
it to do. You will notice that a few rows have the same Column2 data in Sheet1.

The Test sheet looks good but can you do it where we do it with Sheet1 and
Sheet2 putting the result in Sheet3? The highlight colors define what the value
of Column3 is in Sheet 1 (I have manually done the hightlights in the real
data).
