You do not need a formula. Just select the cells button(upper left) and then
EDIT>REPLACE>

WITH
NOTHING (LEAVE BLANK)

i need to remove *.

You can simply use "Ctrl+H", in find place, type '*' and replace it with
blank, dats it.
