I accidentally found an answer to the question put up by N Shivkumar. So
wanted to share the same, though I am sure most of you must have found the
solution to this. Following are the steps:
1) Select the column/cell where you want to have the format with the

download it copy rupee font file ->
Go To RUN-> TYPE FONTS-> PRESS ENTER-> PASTE THE RUPEE FONT FILE
