The client decided that it was more cost-effective to do this vs., moving to the cloud version. The project is going to kick off in April of 2022, they do not have enough people for this project and want an SAP Technical Lead to add to the team. The Director said he would like someone who's stronger on the controlling side, specifically product costing. Ideally, this person will have experience with end-to-end SAP implementation, S/4 would be ideal. It's also preferred that this person come from Enterprise level projects where there's many stakeholders, PM's, SI, partners, etc. This position works on strategic enterprise projects, developing overall design and execution of various areas for the financial services and business communities. Defines financial processes spanning SAP ERP and legacy systems and leads and/or influences project delivery teams to execute that design in the projects that make up the IT strategic project roadmap. Completes SAP configuration to meet the design criteria for strategic projects. This position will also have responsibility to research, consult and work with consultants/external software applications on SAP capabilities and solutions. *Principle Duties:* 1. Understands business goals and requirements associated with IT strategic roadmap. 2. Researches and proposes SAP system solutions to realize business goals for strategic projects in subject area. 3. Determines system solutions to achieve goals of the IT strategic roadmap in subject area. 4. Formulates and delivers an enterprise level functional design for all SAP and legacy systems in respective area. 5. Participates in pre-planning, blueprinting, realization, final preparation and go-live/support phases of IT strategic roadmap projects assigned. 6. Completes SAP configuration to meet the design criteria for strategic projects in respective area. 7. Provides level 2 & 3 system maintenance support for subject area. 8. Delivers root cause analysis and formulates design to correct system concerns. *REQUIRED:* BS degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting or related discipline plus 10 years related work experience. Some minor travel to manufacturing plant sites to support strategic projects. • Experience in defining and implementing SAP ERP solutions for FI/CO modules to include but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Profitability Analysis, Product Costing, and Fixed Assets. • Minimum of one full project lifecycle implementation of SAP ERP. • Can develop, articulate and manage a project plan to support strategic roadmap projects. • SAP business process experience in the following SAP module area: Finance and Controlling (FICO) and specifically Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) and Product Costing (CO-PC). • Previous Experience with Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC module) or similar planning and budgeting software a plus • High level understanding of SAP FI module integration with other SAP business processes including: SD – Sales & Distribution, MM – Materials Management, CO – Product costing, PP – Production Planning, WM – Warehouse Management, QM – Quality Management, PM – Plant Maintenance. • Experience with IDOCS and their processing and requirements. • Experience in Organizational Change Management requirements for subject SAP ECC modules including creation and delivery of training materials. • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite including creation of Excel spreadsheets and MS PowerPoint presentations. • Strong systems solution and analytics and reporting skills. • Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes for manufacturing companies. • Strong business and technical leadership and facilitation skills. • Good communication skills – verbal, written and presentation. • Thorough understanding of SAP ASAP Methodology. • Strategic IT vision and excellent execution skills.
