I have a file with one protected (with password) sheet name
"Attendance Record". I would like to be able to track changes made by
users without sharing the file. Sharing the file disables some
functions that I need. The following two macros are already in the
file:

Sub NoOddRows()
ActiveSheet.Unprotect Password:=MyStr1
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
Range("A5").Select
Do While ActiveCell <> A1500
Selection.EntireRow.Hidden = True
ActiveCell.Offset(2, 0).Select
Loop
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
ActiveSheet.Protect Password:=MyStr1
End Sub

Sub UnhideSelectedRows()
ActiveSheet.Unprotect Password:=MyStr1
Dim MyC As Range
Selection.EntireRow.Hidden = False
ActiveSheet.Protect Password:=MyStr1

End Sub

The above rows allow user to unhide selected rows and hide all odd
rows. Track changes works if I enable users to insert/format rows when
protecting the sheet but can't afford for anyone to insert rows.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Khan
