Identifies, analyses and mitigates non-functional issues and technical risks of software systems. Develops, executes and monitors NF test automation tools, profilers and scripts. Provides recommendations for issue resolutions, improvement of NF aspects, system optimization, etc. *Key Responsibilities:* · Oversees and executes test processes, determines the proper prioritization of the testing activities and ensures integrative work and full coverage of test scenarios in accordance with plans and observations from concurrent testing activities. Develops and implements NF automation procedures and tools. Collects and analyzes system behavioral results using both developed and off the shelf tools. · Creates and defines test execution plans as well as non-functional requirements for mitigating technical risks (e.g., executing required tests, defining required NFT tool use, development or acquisition, test environment requirements, and other appropriate mitigation and contingency activities). · Designs and reviews test solutions and scenarios. Develops NF scripts and automation utilities to be implemented and executed in alignment with the scope determined during test planning, leveraging knowledge and a broad understanding of E2E Business process & requirements. · Selects and applies appropriate structural design techniques to ensure that tests provide an adequate level of confidence and optimization. The tests are to be based on code and aligned with version requirements, customer needs/use and design scope. · Works closely with his/her technical peers (e.g., developers, architects, operations engineers) to identify potential areas of technical risks (e.g., performance, operability, configuration, reliability, stability, scalability, etc. ), bottle necks and inefficiencies. Conducts expert interviews, engaging in brainstorming and leveraging current and past experiences. · Calls attention to and focuses on incident assessments. Works closely with peers and managers to resolve technical queries/ sticky points and ensures RCA for all problems in his/her area of ownership. Acts as the technical interface with other teams to resolve issues and to communicate conclusions and recommendations. · Provides recommendations for resolution of issues and proposes improvements to the NF aspects of code, system optimization, best sizing and architecture (e.g., introducing specific types of test automation, contributing to the selection of appropriate tools to automate technical testing tasks). · Ensures that product documentation, testware and work products used in the testing activities are of the highest quality to ensure traceability, correctness and compliance with product requirements and specifications, internal standards and clients' needs. Provides recommendations and formulas for tuning and sizing as well as for architecture-related decisions. · Maintains and enhances the professional and business relationship with the client/ internal customers. Effectively participates in and/ or leads formal and informal reviews with stakeholders, applying knowledge & experience and providing a technical perspective. · Provides professional and technical support to team members and keeps them informed of assignment/ project status.
