Can someone elaborate? We've been using it for 2 years and never had any problems. We're about to renew our subscription (not sure if we did already), as well as installing the management console (they call it e-policy orchestrator nowadays..) on a new server If it's so crap, we'll consider

Heck, if it works for you and you have had success with it, stick with it. I have had bad experiences with McCrappy, and the upgrade price to the e-policy thing was more than just simply switching to Trend, with I really like. Ive also used Antigen, Symantec and ImNotGoingToScanIT, and of those ,

I was going to reply, but Andy pretty much said it all. Plus McCrappy turned around and bit me once. We had the latest dats, engines, etc, yet it still let a known virus through costing me about 20 lost workstations. That wasn't the first time I have seen that happen. Any antivirus that works on

I could not let this one pass. For the record, you better take a closer look at how you have installed Exchange and GroupShield and how things are managed in your network. Particularly if your description below is accurate. First off, why isn't your boot.ini read only? It is supposed to be.

I don't believe Exchange is likely to be your problem. Exchange has worked with domains with hyphens as long as I've been working with it, which is a long time. >From the Exchange server, try doing a telnet to port 25 to one of those domains. You don't use an SMTP smart host, do you? Ed Crowle
