giving them live email addresses to sell on.

If you're behind a firewall/proxy of some type (with your server having a
private IP address) and don't have any inbound SMTP port forwarding
configured (as you don't use inbound SMTP) then you have nothing to worry
about. Spammers could only use your server as a relay if you have port 25
Is his mailbox alias unique? I've seen a similar problem in the past caused
by two mailboxes having the same alias.
