Unlike other vendors that make you go through a logic tree to decide which
patch packages to install, Microsoft

blocking attachments has served us very well.

Just wondering if there are many companies out there that do NOT use a virus
protection product that links into exchange? Instead relying on desktop av?

We are looking
to the production netowrk. You would need a PDC on the DR network too.

I like www.backspace.com Very simple design and straight to the point. Not
related to the PC business in any way, but you did ask for some that are a
nice design!

'Remote' is a custom recipient, so it looks as if you've already created
this object. Have you checked to see if it's hidden?

Are the emails still sitting in his original mailbox or are they moving out
of the mailbox but not being forwarded to where they are supposed to be
forwarded ?

Hello,
I have some users on the other side of a slow link
from the Exchange (5.5) server. They are about to have there workstations
rebuilt and some have around 500-800mb in OST files (outlook 2000). Old OS was
98 and new one is W2K.
Is there anyway that these can be backed-up, then
profile on a machine, create an empty OST and
then replace it with an OST from another machine in the past.

I mentioned this before, but I am pretty sure there is a limit on the each
folder of around 16k messages and 2gb (or 1.8)? Pretty sure about the
messages, and fairly sure about the folder size.

Also keep in mind the limit on folder size in the Outlook client... You will
probably reach that before the server storage limit.

Yeah, they can piss people off elsewhere. While there are some people on
this list who obviously know a great deal about Exchange, it seems
inversely-proportional to people skills.
It is funny, I am on an SMS list with some absolutely amazing technical

the stupid emails with contribute nothing.
