Hello all .. I am having a major problem.. This week the IMS it going
crazy.. It is kicking everyone off in a sporadically time.. It man be 5
min or 10 but it disconnects everyone.. Does anyone have any ides on
what is causing this.

i have several instancess that several of my users are checking thier
email, the pop3 client does not recognize the password and then it ends up
locking up their email accout.. any ideas..

hello.. I have been dealing with this issue ever since we moved to
exchange 2000. We are running windows xp with the pop3 connector.
several of my users accounts are getting locked out as if they are
entering and incorrect password. The users account information
(password) is not being recognized
have several of my users that are setup as pop3. users accouts are
locking up email accounts when they state to save email password in pop3
settings.. any ideas

conclusion I have found on this was to delete the protective storage
in the registry in windows xp, I believe it's a client to server
authentication bug

I've seen this with Exchange 5.5 as well. Never could figure out why it
was happening. Why not just disable account lockouts?
