You can try and use the verify feature of smtp, but most servers don't
support this in fear of illegitimate use.

There is a utility that will allow you to make a bootdisk, boot to the disk,
and reset the password... It uses a linux based Registry Editor to reset the
password. The only way to read the password (that I know of) is to get the
hash from the SAM database and brute force your way through all the
bits for each subnet. Example:
172.22.64.0
255.255.255.0
and
172.22.32.0
255.255.255.0
This gives you two networks of 254 hosts each.
