Permissions changing on pickup directory

I have a couple of webpages using CDO to send mail. For them to work, I have to give IWAM_server write access to the pickup directory of my Exch2k-SP3 server. So I give IWAM those rights and the pages work fine. However, we try out the webpage again a few hours later, and we get an access denied
