Any issues? There are always some issues. But there's nothing wrong with your idea.

Here's what's going (well planning) to happen at my org. I have 4 Exchange 5.5sp4 boxes w/NT4sp6 in a Win2000 domain w/AD. Want to install a normal server with W2k3 and put E2k3 on it. Here's my plan (joining existing site): Install Windows 2003 on a new server in same domain; run ADC; run /forestprep; run /domainprep; install E2k3. The schema and AD in 2000 will be upgraded to 2003 after installing ADC and the prep's. Then I'll created the stores to reflect my standards I have on the 5.5 servers and move mailboxes accordingly. Is anyone running Exchange 2003 in a Windows 2000 domain? Are there any issues with planning to run Exchange 2003 on a Win2003 server in a Windows 2000 domain without upgrading DC's to 2003? _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang =english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
