Subject: IMC behavior

When sending a message to one of our contractor sites the delivery fails
with a "network error during host resolution". I'm pretty sure this is
because there is no MX record for the new test domain they've setup. I
remember reading somewhere that the Exchange IMC will not revert to host
name resolution if there is no MX record. I've tried to forward all
messages intended for the domain in question to their SMTP relay but the
IMC will not start with that configured. Are there any other
alternatives I can try? I've told them that we will just have to wait
for the DNS entries to propagate, but they are trying to do testing for
a release on Friday. So, I'm trying to find a temporary fix in the
meantime.

Thanks,

Timm
