This is probably blindingly obvious, but you are not actually using
DC=mydomain,DC=com as your search string are you? This was only intended
as an example. For example, my search base would be DC=cibasc,DC=com, as
this is the domain name

The authentication within the LDAP service will need to be updated with the
new details. In the User Name section, enter user's name either in UPN or
Distinguished Name format, e.g.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
or
CN=myuser,CN=Users,DC=mydomain,DC=com
Choose a suitable search base, e.g.
GCs doe not use 389. They use 3268

Exchange 2000 should not be using port 389 by itself since the directory is now Active
Directory. Just the GC should be on port 389.
