Just further to this issue. Emailed hotmail and asked if they currently use any lists to ban IP addresses (this host had at one stage been an open relay/proxy, long long ago). Thanks for the info. I actually thought of telnetting to mail.hotmail.com:25 just as your email came through (spooky). Sure enough, it works from my office, but not from theirs. We rebooted the ADSL router, still not working tho. Even using IP addresses it still wont talk on port 25 to the hotmail
